DESCRIPTION:Join the CalBEM Working Group 3 (Enhance BEM Capabilities and Metrics) Summer Meeting on August 29th. \n\n\nThis calendar event is just a placeholder. \n\n\nMeeting invitations were sent on 7/20/23. If you are not already signed up to receive Working Group 3 notifications\, you can sign up here. \n\n\nPlease reach out to us at info@calbem.org if you have any questions or concerns\, if you need the invitation forwarded to you\, or if you would like to join this meeting without signing up for the Working Group. \nMeeting Description:  \nJoin the Working Group 3 Co-Chairs to review and discuss a few CASE measures and their impact on modeling usability\, rulesets\, and the ACM. The Co-Chairs plan to discuss the following measures and more\, time permitting. \n\nNR HVAC Space Heating:\n\nMeasure 1 would result in a mandatory HWST limit of 130°F\, which is below the current ACM Reference Manual setpoint of 160°F.\nAdd a section describing 4-pipe dedicated heat recovery chiller and water-to-water heat pump objects to the ACM reference manual.\nEnhance the thermal energy storage object and ensure it can be configured to provide space heating\, and also reflect different efficiency performance depending on if the TES tank uses ice\, condenser water\, or hot water.\n\n\nMF Domestic Hot Water:\n\nCalifornia Plumbing Code (CPC) Appendix M Pipe Sizing\nPipe Insulation Enhancement\nRequire Balancing Valves\nMaster Mixing Valves\n\n\nMF Restructuring: Envelope\, HVAC\, Other\n\nSlab Perimeter Insulation\nVisible Transmittance\nSkylight Properties (Additions and Alterations)\nCentral Ventilation Shaft Sealing\nAdditions and Alterations Clean-Up\nSnapshot Quality Insulation Installation (QII)\nVerification (HERS/ATT) Clean-Up
